Oct 17: Feast of the translation of Æthelthryth (†679), abbess. Richard, abbot of Elyg (Ely, Cambridgeshire), moved her remains into the new Norman church #OTD in 1106. She was wife to Ecgfrith, king of the Northumbrians, then nun at Coludaesburg (Coldingham) and founder of Ely.
