Another famous Lancashire pub closes its doors. 😢

Guy’s Thatched Hamlet, which will be familiar to many local families, has shut after 46 years blaming economic pressures.

I have repeatedly raised this in Parliament - in the last fortnight alone I have voted against business rate increases and also spoken to challenge the government to support pubs before it’s too late. But Labour aren’t listening.

Pubs are vital to our towns, yet rising costs, higher business rates, and National Insurance increases are forcing more to close.

How many more businesses will have to close before Labour realise the damage they are doing?
