@SuzJamieson@revconundrum Agreed, but I'd say we've never fully had "Scottish politicians". We've had UK politicians who only look south, whose ambition is London and the Lords. We need genuinely Scottish politicians, who represent their areas fully.
@halfbakedhex8@t55stepney Yup. WH Smith sold off all their high street shops (which weren't making money) and kept their airport/ train station/ motorway services ones (which were)
@reddestroyer05@Streakofscarlet This instantly makes the book better.
Trim the last page of Sneeze (it's basically an epilogue for the book), but otherwise you're good
him being a blatant red scare allegory should be way more common knowledge than it is and shouldn’t have to be explained because it is extremely obvious from just reading the actual story
@tehflyingkipper I've just realised what a fun job it must have been for one model maker to be told to build a frog to scale with the human characters but with posable jointed limbs
A suggestion, if I may. Since the Ffestiniog and Talyllyn railways will now be the same gauge, perhaps the Cambrian Coast line from Tywyn to Portmadog could be converted to dual gauge to allow engines to travel between the two lines under their own steam?
based on the 1960s retro BR look, will be issued this season
🛤️ In line with policy and to enable full stock inter-compatibility, we will be regauging to the new GLWR standard narrow gauge of 1 ft 11 ½ inches, or more correctly, 597mm
@halfbakedhex8 The loop line is the best example of this. We all "know" it's not canon because the creator said it wasn't. Even though it's in the text of James the Red Engine, which is unambiguously part of the canon
@halfbakedhex8 Almost uniquely, when Thomas fans talk about Railway Series canon they are, generally, describing the creator's attempt to tie everything together in a consistent headcanon, rather than describing the body of published work.
