People talk about our goals and pressing, but Rodri is the real reason this Barcelona team feels completely unshakeable right now. 😭💀
First point of contact in transitions? Snuffed out.
Opposition trying to cross the halfway line? Denied.
Only 7 goals conceded in 8 games.
He brings composure, tactical intelligence, and defensive control that makes every player around him look 10x better.
Barça snatching Rodri was the heist of the decade. The man is pure class! APPRECIATE THE MAESTRO! 🍿✈️🔵🔴
Imagine a midfield trio of Rodri, Frenkie de Jong, and Pedri. 🚨🧠🔵🔴
Opposing teams won't touch the ball for 90 minutes when Flick lines up Rodri, Frenkie de Jong, and Pedri. 😭💀
Rodri snuffs out counterattacks at the source.
Frenkie breaks high presses with a shoulder drop.
Pedri shifts into his ultimate attacking role between the lines.
No more overworked Pedri playing deep—just pure creativity, chance creation, and goal threat in the final third.
Flickball with this central trio is cheat-code football. 🔵🔴
This is what the people that called themselves Barca fans that are actually players fan is finding difficult to wrap around their heads.
They cannot understand why a club will want to have a big squad and with lots of quality in the depths.
They think the coach is stupid for keeping some of their favorite players on the bench and playing others. They cannot understand what it means to rotate a squad.
I love the fact that we have a lot of quality in the team. I'm a Barca fan not the fan of one player.
THIS! 😭🔵🔴 Rodri doesn’t need to score or assist to control a game. He kills transitions before they become dangerous and gives Pedri, Gavi and the attackers the freedom to do their thing. The attack wins headlines, but Rodri gives this Barça team its balance. What a signing! 🧠🔥

Barcelona didn’t just dominate Getafe they manipulated their shape. 🚨🧠🔵🔴
Getafe arrived at Camp Nou in a rigid 5-4-1 low block. Hansi Flick’s response was pure positional art:
Dani Olmo constantly popped up in half-spaces between the lines, dragging central defenders out.
Xavi Espart inverted into the pivot zone for a central numerical overload (+1).
Jules Koundé held wide width on the overlap, stretching Getafe’s 5-man backline.
Immediate counter-press won the ball back in 3 seconds, keeping them suffocated.
Lesson: Off-ball positional movement creates space before the final pass. Reproducing this against elite UCL sides makes us unstoppable! ☕️🍿
Exactly! 🔵🔴 Our attack gets the headlines, but the midfield controls the games. The depth is ridiculous, and Rodri adds another layer of control and defensive security. Imagine having a midfield this strong and still needing to worry about our centre-backs. Fix that defence and Barça become a serious problem for Europe. 👀🔥
This is what separates Flick’s Barça from a team that simply dominates possession. 🔵🔴 The movement off the ball is what breaks these low blocks. The real test now is executing the same patterns when elite UCL teams press back. 👀🔥

Later, we’ll talk about Saka, the Starboy who can apparently do no wrong
Arteta needs to stop protecting certain players and start holding everyone accountable. Bench Havertz and Saka, and give Max Dowman a chance. Even if it’s just a few minutes, let the boy play. Saka can come on later. His performances this season have been horrendous, and he needs to smell the bench.
And Havertz? Don’t even get me started. I don’t want to hear about his link-up play when he’s everywhere and nowhere at the same time, drifting to the right wing alongside Saka and leaving the striker’s position unoccupied.
Yesterday was another example. His movement allows opposition centre-backs to push forward and overload the midfield, making it more difficult for our players to progress the ball.
I genuinely cannot understand people who say we play better with Havertz on the pitch. Like, have we been watching the same Arsenal? We’ve actually been playing shit with him on the pitch, but somehow people keep using his link-up play to defend his performances
What Barçelona did excellently yesterday was how fast they won the ball back after losing it.
You cannot get to our defense without the ball, for me that's the best way to defend.
@BarcaUniversal Finally, Barça fans get to see Jesse Bisiwu at home! 👀🔵🔴 17 years old and another exciting talent to keep an eye on. Tunkara and Caicedo returning is a bonus too. La Masia keeps producing! 💎🔥
This is what happens when smart recruitment meets a clear tactical identity. 🔵🔴🔥 Deco isn’t just adding names; he’s building depth so Flick can rotate without losing intensity. The real test is whether this squad can maintain those levels against Europe’s elite. That’s where Barça can make a statement. 🏆👀
Funny how pulling hair was a red card when João Neves did it, but suddenly the rules change when Vini does it. 😭💀
Same offence, different outrage.
Football fans don’t defend the rules anymore. They defend the shirt. 😂🍿
The hypocrisy of Real Madrid fans stinks to high heaven. It’s surprising that many, if not most, Madridistas are protesting Vini’s red card against Villarreal yesterday for pulling a Villarreal player’s hair.
I vividly remember these same fans supporting a red card for the same offence in the Club World Cup final. João Neves pulled Marc Cucurella’s hair, and despite Cucurella not having the ball, Neves was sent off.
Madridistas had no problem with that decision. In fact, they were happy that PSG were losing to Chelsea and had gone down to ten men, especially after PSG had humiliated and battered Real Madrid in the semi-final of the tournament.
Yet since yesterday, these same fans have been telling us that the Villarreal player didn’t have the ball when Vini pulled his hair, so Vini shouldn’t have been sent off. 😂
