Cumbria Raynet is very busy.
Alongside LCC Lancashire Resilience Forum, we are testing the ERAL Repeater system within Cumbria.
48 villages and parishes have been included successfully.
Places as far north as Askham in Furness, Coniston and Sedbergh.

Tests continue in Cumbria.

The Morecambe Bay cockling disaster occurred on the evening of 5 February 2004.
At Morecambe Bay in North West England, at least 21 Chinese illegal immigrant labourers were drowned by an incoming tide after picking cockles off the Lancashire/Cumbrian coast

Thank you for donating your time, equipment, skills and fuel to assist the Great North Air Ambulance.
Some operators came 100+ miles to donate, to a service given sometimes to tourists before locals.

Thanks to all operators who assisted yesterday with the British Athletics Fell and Hill Relay Championship. The Howgills are a neglected part of Cumbria and a very useful addition to Raynet capabilities on the Fell Tops.
