Spoke with a resident of Florida and heard her concerns about the pressing issue of climate change. I’ve informed her of my plan to increase the number of greenhouse gas reducing vehicles (electric cars) but deploying more than 500,000 new public charging outlets by end of 2030.

Visited a student from a local high school in PA and heard her concern about the unattainable nature of college because of its great expense. If elected, I will provide students with an associates degree at a community college tuition free! #takingactiongettingresults

Spoke to an Arizona resident who is heavily concerned about the immigration into America. If elected, I will work to ensure that there is a more accessible pathway to citizenship. I will also work to pass and reinstate the DREAM Act and DACA. #takingactiongettingresults

Spoke with a mother from Michigan who is concerned about the rising health care costs. Her private insurance company is becoming too expensive that she is now struggling to afford a necessary drug, insulin, for her diabetic son.

Spoke with a parent in a local Wisconsin community and I heard her concern about paying for her son’s college. She just wants him to be able to have a successful future but the cost of higher education makes sending him to a university almost impossible. This should not be.

I assured her that if elected I will work to make college accessible and affordable for all! I will invest in our community colleges and ensure that all can attend one for 2 years tuition free. I will also double funding for Pell grants and halve payments on federal student loans

Met with a worker at the Ford Michigan Assembly Plant. I heard her concerns about MI being being a right-to-work state therefore weakening union strength. If elected, I will work to repeal the right-to-work legislation and strengthen unions and the working class! #Cummings4potus

Heart broken seeing news of yet another mass shooting. Americans should be able to celebrate a football game without fear. They should be excited about a win, not mourning over lost lives. We cannot sit here idly watching as the number of innocent lives lost continues to rise.

The time to act is past due. I send my condolences, but as I’ve said before, that is not enough. These families and our country deserve better from us. They deserve to see their leaders taking action to prevent this pain from reaching anyone else.
