@Limits_Broken_@Mangaic2 So, say if he had it. What then?
It’s not like one-touch Quirks are unbeatable.
Decay is an offshoot of it and characters like Endeavor, Deku, and Star and Stripe were able to fight Shigaraki despite that fact. AFO’s own power is a one-tap win.
What makes Overhaul special?
@Limits_Broken_@Mangaic2 The Rewind effect is what actually restored AFO’s prime in canon, while Overhaul doesn’t showcase the feats to suggest anything of that level.
@Limits_Broken_@Mangaic2 How is a Nomu supposed to perform delicate head surgery?
And Garaki is an overweight old man with next to no mobility and only has any vitality due to the longevity Quirk he already has. It’s possible he just can’t handle getting another Quirk on top of that.
@thekidgoob@JosLeonard45729@Mangaic2 That’s not a surefire thing.
Overhaul has never fused himself with people prior to that moment. He’s canonically a huge germaphobe, so he only did it because he was desperate.
Also, in none of Overhaul’s fusions do we see him replace any of his organs. He just added more arms.
@thekidgoob@JosLeonard45729@Mangaic2 How is Overhaul supposed to fix AFO in the first place if AFO withholds giving him his arms back?
And if AFO gives Overhaul his arms back, then why would Overhaul need anything else from AFO? He could just fix the boss himself.
There is nothing to bargain here.
@Limits_Broken_@Mangaic2 Overhaul already suggested that he has to be speedy if he wants to restore Eri to perfect condition
And the very fact that Overhaul thinks his own restoration abilities are inferior to Eri’s already established a hard limit.
@Limits_Broken_@Mangaic2 It’s not an assumption. This is stated to be how Quirks work.
The burden of proof is on you to prove that the logic of Quirk factors somehow doesn’t apply to Overhaul.
@Limits_Broken_@Mangaic2 If AFO really possessed Overhaul, Horikoshi would just simply alter the fight so that All Might doesn’t end up in direct contact like that.
And AFO touched Endeavor with his mouth Quirk, not his bare hands. Overhaul is only activated from bare hands, just like AFO’s own power.
@Limits_Broken_@Mangaic2 Your Rappa page doesn’t disprove me at all.
All you’re showing is that Overhaul can be used to disassemble *other people’s* heads and put it back in good condition if he does so immediately.
We still never see any instance of Overhaul disassemble his *own* head in its entirety.
@stripes_txt@Kurorealciel2 Ochako said she went to a doctor. A physician, not a psycologist. What do you expect them to do?
And Toga's condition isn't a "need." It's purely a romantic fetish. It's purely crush-based, and she's a sex predator. who made no effort to control herself. Big whoop.
@thekidgoob@JosLeonard45729@Mangaic2 Garaki is old as hell and physically frail, only having any vitality at all due to his Quirk. Nagant is way younger and stronger than him, and she only received one extra Quirk on top of her own.
And what makes you think Overhaul could be trusted to restore AFO's health at all?
@thekidgoob@JosLeonard45729@Mangaic2 Overhaul's feats of healing people from death are done on already intact people who he just exploded seconds ago, meaning he still had control over their matter.
AFO's injuries happened years ago and he is missing organs like eyes and such. Overhaul can't magic up new ones.
@stripes_txt@Kurorealciel2 “The system?”
Toga is a sexual predator who was taken to counseling and yet repeatedly ignores people’s boundaries cuz she thinks they the world revolves around her fetish.
The only mentally ill one is Twice, who made himself that way, never sought help, and tried to kill kids.
@OctopusThe73668 Prime AFO was already stronger than All Might to begin with, let alone Quirkless TomuraFO who has no access to his Quirks.
And Deku does not have the stamina nor skill to outlast Rewind AFO. There’s no way for Deku to actually beat him while AFO has plenty of ways to kill Deku.
People disagreeing with this seem to forget that Deku has never once fought AFO by himself.
First time Deku had Monoma’s Erasure to back him up.
The second time Deku had the entire hero army backing him up.
Deku is not capable of stomping AFO. It’d be extreme-diff at best.
La gente diciendo que Deku derrota y hace mierda a AFO por esto si que larpean fuerte
No saben que una de las mayores ventajas que puede tener AFO en combate es que su oponente pierda el control de sus emociones y ataque sin pensarlo
@JosMiguelBerri3 People cooking you for saying this, but you’re not wrong.
First time Deku lost control, AFO touched his face and could’ve killed him instantly if Tomura’s body wasn’t too incomplete to steal One For All.
Second time, Lemillion had to calm Deku down from crashing out.
@AstroVex88@yoyofightthee Shigaraki doesn’t do a good job representing society’s flaws. There’s nothing compelling or unique about his destruction goal.
AFO inspiring villainy in others is ironically way more connected to the themes since he actually exploits downtrodden people.
@Therealcarlu@Mangaic2 It’s just hindsight bias to think AFO was somehow supposed to decide to target one kid when he has a bunch of more pressing objectives in the works.
@Therealcarlu@Mangaic2 Sure. But AFO has more things on his plate than tracking Monoma down to kill him lmao.
Especially as Monoma spent most of the third arc at UA, which has security equal to Tartarus Prison.
Meanwhile AFO is dealing with Shiggy’s completion, Deku, and a bunch of other stuff.
@Therealcarlu@Mangaic2 Overhaul was never a genuine threat to AFO, so there’s no reason to spare him any thought.
Aizawa was eliminated. He himself admitted his Quirk is non-functional after his damaged eye. The only reason Erasure was still relevant was because of Monoma
