@adgirlMM My bro couldn’t afford insurance for many yrs. When he had to go to the er, upon discharge he was always presented w paperwork to prove his income & then the debt was forgiven by the hospital. Sometimes they’d settle a big bill w a small payment. Like his $82k bill for $800.
@kittykareninas The stories I hear from my straight coworkers are wild! One told us that she & her husband haven’t had sex in 13 years. They’ve only been married for 15!!! “Don’t you miss it?” “At first but I just take care of myself in the shower & it’s fine.” What? WHAT?!
@Principal_Jon According to my friends who are teachers, the kids can’t read. They have zero attention spans & don’t see why they need to learn to read when there is spellcheck & assistive technology to read for them.
I remembered I loved you
Came back when it mattered, I saw you
Standing there in the light of the window wearing that same smile
Man, it's been a while
But I knew it, I knew you
@quillvyn@TMisles I’m so sick of seeing this type of comment on almost every fic written these days. Like, sorry, some writers are adults who had AP Lit in school & had the proper use of thr em dash drilled into them.
@beyoncegarden They tend to spend a LOT of time thinking about us & all the gay sex we have. Like, bro, I don’t spend even 1 minute of my day thinking about straight sex. Kinda weird of you, but whateves. I’m not gonna kink shame.
I love my cousin, but he has superhuman strength. He’s broken dozens of ppls fingers in his life including mine once. He’s broken my aunt’s arm twice. He can’t process emotions so he lashes out. Not his fault bc even tho he’s 44, he’s mentally 5.
This is it right here. Because yes, babies with Down Syndrome are adorable. But that adorable baby ages & goes through puberty. Ever dealt w someone who is 16 w puberty hormones but the intellect of a 5 yo? Or a DS adult w anger issues?
A lot of these people saying “I would adopt a Down Syndrome baby in a heartbeat” would not last a day taking care of a severely physically and intellectually disabled adult.
He wanted to look tough. He posted a painting of himself surrounded by oiled-up shirtless men in tiny shorts waving pompoms. Safe to say this did not land quite the way he intended.
