@pothen I wasn't there, but it sounds like Toronto has some heroes here, including PSD Bingo. I'm greatful out members aren't going to be interacting with this dangerous criminal tomorrow thanks to their effort. 3/3

@pothen Then they locate the suspect, get shot at (while doing their job) the police service dog gets killed by the suspect in the process, and the officers manage to shoot, subdue and get the suspect medical treatment so he can go to court and face his accusers. 2/3

@pothen True, but the suspect was shooting his gun at the officers as well while they were performing their jobs. It's not really contraversial that this is unacceptable and should be widely condemed.

What a beautiful dog Bingo was. According to this post, Bingo, the German Shepherd and his handler only joined the @TPSK9 unit this year and he was only 2 years old. A brave service dog and a hero. Condolences to Sgt Brandon Smith
