@KeystoneYogi@ashleyschendel A more apt Comparison would be Sidney Crosby who endured the same type of nonsense. The league did nothing to protect a generational talent and he missed almost 2 years of his prime due to injury from a cheap shot away from the play that wasn't called.
"It's either incompetence or intentional, both are embarrassing... This is a paranoid, weird, insular league."
@colincowherd weighs in on the latest Caitlin Clark disrespect from the WNBA
@CardPurchaser I think it's difficult to justify the expense and additional work when most of us sell on a large platform.
That being said I would love to hear stories of how people are successful with it.
@nhlpens I think either one of them could get you a first rounder plus, just not one in the first half of the first round.
That being said I wouldn't count out Dubas to pull something off. I think if he does it will be a series of trades.
@MustangMan_TX This should have been a much more severe suspension. They need to make an example out of one of these players.
The WNBA is giving a master class in fumbling their shot at being relevant.
If Clark's career is ended early by this nonsense this league will sink and deserve it.
The fact that Caitlin Clark, the only reason most people are paying attention to the WNBA at all, is not on this poster is absolutely absurd.
This league is a joke. CC deserves better!
@AlexMay985@TheDanKingerski It will be a prime opportunity for the Blue Jackets (who don't have a Dedicated ECHL affiliate) to swoop in and be the Hero for the Nailers and get those fans to their Arena.
@AlexMay985@TheDanKingerski So change the affiliation to a team that most ECHL fans hate, that will surely cause logistical issues for call ups to WBS, and throw away a 29 year relationship?
I'm failing to see how the benefits outweigh the costs. The WV affiliate puts asses in seats at Console.
@AlexMay985@TheDanKingerski You're correct no one said that, all I said was there was no reason for it. A lot of those fans are following the career of Murashov because he played there. Things like that will be gone.
There are reasons to keep it the same, I don't see any legitimate reason to change it.
