No matter the outcome of the referendum in Alberta, Canadian federalists will spend the next decades fighting the breakup of the country.

They will be unsuccessful. There are too many factors pulling Saskatchewan, Quebec and Alberta away from the Canadian dumpster fire. It's just a matter of time - but all the while the feds build crippling debt and enable perennially lower productivity.

Albertans should get in front of the collapse and get out first.
