It's amazing, how much fewer submissions one gets when they're limited to residents of Australia! The floodgates ended up being a trickle, but over the last couple of months finally have a decent amount to go through over this long weekend! If you submitted, we're getting to it!
Submissions are now open for Issue Three! In a slight change of process, we're only accepting submissions from residents of Australia--sorry, international peeps! Give us a squiz, can't wait to hear from you!

Figured what the hell, I'll enter both issues of Curiouser into the @smallpressau's Book of the Year 2022 Awards! What's the worse that can happen? As @ArtsHub wrote, we are "well worth a read for lovers of short stories, spec fic, horror, and weird fiction"!
@ChefMaslow Thanks for reminding me! Goodness, what a wonderful film. Bruce Campbell and Ossie Davis were a brilliant team. Reckon I'll give it a revisit this weekend!
So hello and good weekend, people! I have just been informed that there are still copies of our second issue at Readings in Carlton. If you're interested, why not pop by and grab a book (any book, not just mine!)?
@markhumphries What's weird is it wouldn't have been the least bit surprising if he had actually said something so callous and awful. This from a guy who actually criticised his opponent because he lost some weight and was looking good.
Congratulations to the brilliant @BecksMuse for being shortlisted in @AustHorror's poetry and long fiction awards! 'Sonnet For a Scarecrow', from our first issue, is a BANGER. Best of luck!
Thrilled to be shortlisted for 2 Australian Shadows Awards @AustHorror premier dark fiction awards. ‘Sonnet for a Scarecrow’ @CuriouserMag in the Poetry Category & ‘The Little One’ from my collection Coralesque & Other Tales to Disturb & Distract @IFWGAustralia in Long Fiction.
