#ADHD does not disqualify anyone from achieving a psychologically, socially and spiritually integrated selfhood. It just might end up being a longer and infinitely more interesting route.
@bingley567 It will have been a crew member's personal gun that they have taken on-set, put it down somewhere and forgotten, then found by a crew and 'returned' to the armourer. Likelihood is that an above-the-line crew member is responsible.
@JonelleCapri Amazing! Weird aside, I was on a movie with wolves. The alpha was a tiny little mongrel, about a quarter of the size of the wolves. They took him away and they got all spooky and wild, put him back and they turned into domestic(ish) dogs.
I know it seems like humanity sucks in general, and yeah, there's a lot of evidence to support that, but when you look around at the mess of the world, please make sure you also take note of the absolutely massive amount of effort and propaganda it takes to keep us at our worst.
@JonelleCapri How fascinating. My freeze is heavily PNS and I use very different strategies to manage it vs flight or flight. But that might not of true for SNS dominant. Maybe there is a lot of variability between people in which strategies work in freeze
@AdultingADHD I can modulate (turn the intensity up and down) my hyperfocus and can influence where it's directed. That doesn't mean I can turn it off and on again, but it does mean I can make it useful.
