@NobleSuccessor "Y-you haven't seen his team though! They're terrifying!"

She whimpers, burying herself into Lydia. Letting out a little cough as she starts to get worked up.

@NobleSuccessor "Maybe, but I'd still be stuck..."

Lina pulls her legs up to her chest, hugging them.

"...and now the Master is probably going to start looking for me again..."

@NobleSuccessor "M-mhm..."

Lina didn't particularly like the fact that she had to depend on Lydia so much, but...

"What would I do if I hadn't found you, Lydia?"

@NobleSuccessor Lina gives Lydia's hand a squeeze back, leaning towards her.

"Can you hold me tonight? Just for tonight, I promise...I'm scared of closing my eyes..."

@NobleSuccessor "O-ow. Any luck?"

It's just tight on her head, it's not actually hurting her outside of the fatigue of holding it up. Thank goodness.

"Lydia? You're still in front of me right?"

She reaches out, grasping around for Lydia.

@NobleSuccessor "It's...it's a bit scary, Lydia. I've never traveled out in the wilderness."

And her first experience doing so was while blinded.

"...I've been a maid for most of my life. Doing something like this just isn't..."

@NobleSuccessor "No...she's always working on experiments and doesn't have much time for common maids...but I hear she was able to make a mechanical human."

She slides down from the boulder, resting her head against the boulder.

"I can hear the Krickitune chirping...is it getting dark?"

@NobleSuccessor "I know the Master has a scientist that does some questionable experiments..."

She tugs gently on Lydia's arm.

"Can you find a place for us to sit down? My neck hurts..."

@NobleSuccessor It's disconnected from the machine, so it shouldn't affect her mentally anymore. Aside from being very heavy for the small blunette.

"Weren't we both just hooked up to a nightmare generator? I bet he'll make her go through a lot worse if he gets his hands on her."

@NobleSuccessor "You don't understand. She's being targeted by her dad, Lydia. If she knew that people that she cared about were getting hurt because of her, she might do something drastic."

Lina keeps walking with Lydia.

"The helmet's heavy, but I'm ok. I might need to rest in a bit..."

@NobleSuccessor "I-I don't know if I really should bother Mistress Reina with this. She has enough to worry about without worrying about her maid."

Lina wraps her arm around Lydia's arm, walking with her.

"She's already stressed enough..."

@NobleSuccessor "I don't really want to get hurt though..."

Lina finds Lydia's shoulder and moves to lean against her.

"I trust you. So let's wait until we find a safer method...if that's alright with you?"

@NobleSuccessor "I can hear them breathing," Lina murmurs into Lydia's ear, letting Lydia pick her up. At the very least, she didn't want to be a burden to Lydia.

"If you have to let me go to escape...then do it. I'll be ok..."

"Ngh...let me go!"

Lina's struggling vainly against the Machamp that grabbed her. Yes she failed her task, but she didn't want to face her lord's wrath!

@NobleSuccessor Lina nods, giving Lydia's hand a quick squeeze. She feels around for Lydia's back, and once she finds it, wraps her arms around Lydia, hopping up and wrapping her legs around her waist.

She keeps quiet, waiting for Lydia...

@NobleSuccessor Lina leans against Lydia, the heavy helmet causing her head to lean awkwardly to the side. She can't see, and she's panting. Her weak constitution is definitely making things hard.

"I-I think so too...I-I don't h-hear anyone..."

@NobleSuccessor "I'd trust you, Lydia."

Lina lets out a sigh. She'd have to be blind for a while. At least she had someone reliable with her.

She gropes around, looking for Lydia's hand.

@NobleSuccessor "A Machamp, why?"

Lina is completely blind...she can hear Lydia attempting to pull the headgear off, but it's just not going anywhere.

"Is there any way we can get it off later? Like, detaching this headset thingy?"

@NobleSuccessor Lina's still blindfolded, but she can hear Lydia. Good, they were out...she never would have escaped that reality without Lydia's help. Lina gropes around, feeling the machine that was strapped to her head.

"We're free...g-good..."

@NobleSuccessor Lina didn't have a choice but to join Lydia in the attempt! She collided with the needles at the same time as Lydia did, but she definitely felt the pain. It was agonizing...those needles were incredibly sharp...
