@SimonGIS I have fun doing that regularly. There are some interesting patterns i.e. Open Space access in Toorak. Distance are routed along street networks.
Green: Open Space | Purple: Major Supermarkets

Another idea I had was to use a circle of radius 250 around point of intersection, extend the transect lines beyond the circle, retrieve the intersection of both as the new lines.
