We are the only U.S. Customs (CBP) focused service to provide enhanced access to Rulings, CSMS, AD/CVD, US Tariffs, U.S. Code, Federal Regulations, & Port info
We've been awfully quiet on X - but that doesn't mean we're inactive. We're diligently working to put the finishing touches on our beta site. Thank you to our beta testers! Stay tuned for updates.
After years of hard work, we're thrilled to invite you to apply for a test drive of our new CustomsMobile service!
Please visit https://t.co/kP91IPYZBA to apply today!
US Code went down this morning due to a changed protocol, but it is up and running again. The only debatably good part was that 18 USC penalties disappeared for a few hours 😄. We will implement additional monitoring. Apologies for any inconvenience! https://t.co/MmwUCXsxZK #USC
Politics & economics of a US-#Taiwan#FTA aside, @realDonaldTrump's [near] entering into such an agreement before @JoeBiden assumes office would create a landmine for the incoming president & implicitly force a decision: does the US still adhere to the one #China policy?
Our sincerest apologies for the unexpected site downtime Friday evening and any inconvenience it may have caused. We had just completed a major server upgrade and had a configuration issue. It was quickly resolved. We are excited to now provide faster server speed!
Apologies for @CustomsUpdates dropping a ton of #ADCVD messages yesterday. Between the @CBP service being down, updating, & us updating our services, we fell a bit behind. Rather than starting from today we opted to tweet all missing AD/CVD messages. Tweeting back on track now!
📈 We post ALL new #CBP CSMS & AD/CVD msgs on @CustomsUpdates - giving you the easiest way to get the latest Customs information!

In case you weren't aware, CustomsMobile's #CSMS still allows users to a) search message history since June 15, 1992, and b) search CSMS message body - not just message titles. You're limited by what you want to see - not the technology. https://t.co/A6yj8OmQUl
CustomsMobile is releasing an updated version of CBP's Certification of Origin template. This new version includes the #USMCA and the #JAFTA. Read the article at https://t.co/5zGYOIKYBr. Download the template at https://t.co/rKOT2dPLB8 #NAFTA
After a 4 month #quarantine, brought matted dog to the vet, said "I don't care what he looks like, just get out the knots." For anyone out there who has ever said, "well, it could be worse," this is a reminder that sometimes, no, it couldn't be. #badhaircut#dogsoftwitter
For those who are not yet aware, #CBP has postponed their 2020 Trade Symposium in Anaheim, California until "later this year." Read CBP's full statement at https://t.co/T1OA73PXmL
Finally back home. #CES2020#LasVegas was exciting, informative, engaging – our overall experience can best be summed up with this video. Thanks @modobag for letting us take your suitcase out for a spin!
@CustomsMobile has lots of great things planned for 2020, so stay tuned!
👍 Food @SUSHISAMBA with Colin from @govregs after a very long (but exciting!) week at #CES2020. The #CES exhibitors put on one heck of a show and should be commended, as should be the @cta - and just as much, those TIB underwriters!
According to our @SamsungMobile Health app, we walked a total of 37.50 miles this week at #CES2020 in #LasVegas. Time for us to take a sushi break!

Managed to squeeze a question into the last 45 seconds of #CES2020 talk "Global Trade Flux - Challenges and Opportunity." Great answers, great discussion by panel, including Everett Eissenstat @GM, Deena Ghazarian, CEO @Austere, @crestview_strat, @JohnDeere, & @CTATech.
Goods imported into the US not for sale or sale on approval can be made as Temporary Importation under Bond (TIB - 19 CFR 10.31 / HTSUS ch. 98) - quite useful for trade shows.
If the @CBP TIB desk ever saw a slow day, it was NOT the months & weeks before #CES2020. @LGElectronics
At #CES2020 talk "Location-based AI enabling a mobile and efficient future," Giovanni Lanfranchi SVP & CTO @here says that location-based AI will improve transparency. Will we see a world where you don't have to ask, "dude, where's my cargo?"
Considering the size of #CES2020 and presence of many overseas companies, it's very surprising that @CBP does not have more presence here; the only representation we're aware of is an OFO speaking engagement. Seen in this photo: #Chinese EV car M-byte by @BYTONcars
Numerous comments about #datademocratization at #CES2020 seminars - on point since manufacturers have produced the greatest data volume last 30 years (avg factory reported at 1tb /day!!). I'd love to know what percentage of this data can be classified (no pun) Customs-applicable.
