The Colorado Ultraviolet Transit Experiment, a 6U CubeSat designed to study the inflated atmospheres of short-period exoplanets within the Milky Way galaxy.
Exoplanet with a view.
We have a 2 year postdoctoral fellowship in Nice. DM me if you want to apply and work on exoplanet atmospheres with JWST and ground-based data with me in the coming years !

As part of the STAR-X team, LASP @CUBoulder will build an ultraviolet telescope and also operate the spacecraft for this mission. Congrats to @NASAGoddard and our other partners on the Phase A selection!
@K9qho6762Mike Currently, our 2.4 GHz is only utilized with LASP's ground station. If it ever becomes publically available, we will make an announcement. However, there are no plans for that at the moment.
Boldly going where no space science research institute has gone before: @LASPatCU has played a starring role in developing new technologies to pave the transition from science fiction to fact. #StarTrek#ShatnerInSpace@CUSPatCU@CUTECubeSat

@FlexibleEthics The majority of the more than 4000 confirmed exoplanets discovered were done so via the transit method. CUTE is observing exoplanets that have already been discovered. Check out this page for more discovery details: https://t.co/4bpM7QhFQt
Just ran another highly successful pass, getting in boat loads of commands and proceeding smoothly through commissioning. That's it for today. We'll monitor one high elevation pass overnight, but commanding will continue tomorrow morning around 10:30 AM MDT.
CU and CUTE operators at @LASPatCU made our first contact with CUTE just a few minutes ago. We successfully completed the first step of our commissioning plan! A great start to the CUTE mission thanks to @NASA_Landsat and the #amsat community.

We are grateful to the amateur radio community for finding and keeping tabs on CUTE as it orbits. The CUTE team is prepared for a high altitude pass over our own ground station at @LASPatCU#exoplanet#hamradio#space#cubesat#science
CUTE satellite over USA East Coast. Deployed yesterday from the Atlas V 401 rocket launch. 61E pass FN41iq 2021-09-28 1504Z. 9K6 GMSK. Nine frames to @SatNOGS database. Congratulations to @CUTECubeSat team! Thanks @eelkevisser and @cgbassa for the updated TLE. ๐
