The most hilarious thing I'm seeing is people praised Gunn for his comic accuracy (I don't know why, he clearly has no respect for them) but Supergirl is in no way accurate to the comic he says it's based on.
It is suddenly ok to have a 2nd movie underperforming as long as it is part of a long term project.
But BvS doing 875 M, amazing blue ray sells, wasn’t enough because it wasn’t a billion.
Fucking hypocrites
#BoycottWB even if we don’t even need to boycott your movies you 🤡
This should result in automatic termination of James Gunn and Peter Safran.
They have sunk the DC brand even lower than it was with Hamada. Why? Because they put so much emphasis on a new beginning to rally audiences, and they’ve been humiliated by a total rejection from them.
I am actually very happy that they are blaming sexism for Supergirl flopping, because from what we have seen in the past fews years when the blame is shifted towards men hating women leads for the failure of such media it never ends up the way they imagined it 🤣
Nobody gives a fuck about supergirl. And no, it is not because it’s a woman.
The reason is simple, it is one more dogshit movie produced by safran ( very bad at producing) and gunn who again, not even hating just saying, isn’t a good director. Guardian of the galaxie or not.
@xsphyre I remember the reviews for Josstice League by the real DC fans who read the comics and care more for superman than evil Snyder. There was a lot of “steps in the right direction” phrases being thrown around.
I am pretty sure I am not the only one who realized this but Peter Safran is the main reason DC is going down in glorious flames, while gunn is just a tool. Safran’s “statements” confirmed that to me at least. He’s the final boss.
The year is 2017 and Josstice League just released. DC is finally taking a step in the right direction and rebuilding the trust of the audience.
The year is 2019 and Shazam! just released. DC is finally taking a step in the right direction and rebuilding the trust of the audience.
The year is 2020 and Wonder Woman 1984 just released. DC is finally taking a step in the right direction and rebuilding the trust of the audience.
The year is 2021 and The Suicide Squad just released. DC is finally taking a step in the right direction and rebuilding the trust of the audience.
The year is 2022 and Black Adam just released. DC is finally taking a step in the right direction and rebuilding the trust of the audience.
The year is 2023 and Shazam! Fury of the Gods, The Flash, Blue Beetle and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom all have released. DC is finally taking steps in the right direction and rebuilding the trust of the audience.
The year is 2025 and Superman just released. DC is finally taking a step in the right direction and rebuilding the trust of the audience.
The year is 2026 and Supergirl just released. DC is finally taking a step in the right direction and rebuilding the trust of the audience.
I absolutely can not wait for 2027 when Man of Tomorrow will release and DC will finally take a step in the right direction and rebuild the trust of the audience!
Here’s a movie from the DCEU era that even though it got meddled with by WB executives and got bad critics reviews it still made the kind of money DC studios only fantasizes about today. You know why? Because the general audience were hyped from the previous films.
The biggest problem with DCU is that it feels like MCU 2.0 - the audience that likes that type of movie has loyalty to the MCU
Snyder understood that the only way to make DCEU stand out is if they have their own identity.
You changed your websites poll results after BvS won best Superhero movie of the year because you couldn't stand that the most people voted for it. Now you're out here talking about pathetic? Look inwards.
Is fucking wild for Peter to come out and say that he ain't worry
Like bruh superman 2025 wasn't even a hit and now your second movie is ready to lose $200m plus
Lol what are we doing here? @ParamountPics ? @warnerbros ?
There is no strategy. It was supposed to be Gods And Monsters, now it's Superfam. With this flopping I imagine the next "throw shit at the wall" change is coming very soon.
These people aren’t real. Its been proven for the past 10 years. “Real dc fans” who “cherish Superman more than evil dark Snyder” have always only existed in this twitter mirage. There “passion” is hating on Snyder on twitter because they were empowered to years ago. Thats its.
@loveiceprincesz@soberdeuce His interpretation of Superman is enough to make me want to beat him to d£@th with my bare hands, he's also really good at misinterpretations and mischaracterizations, plus he thinks edginess solves everything
We tried to tell them no one was going to see this movie and they had to work hard to make it a success but instead they tried to gaslight us into thinking we were wrong. Oh well, it's not gonna get any better for them.
So Peter Safan has two of the lowest DC movie opening weeks in his pursuit to “Gain the audience trust” hmmmm not to quote Taylor, Swift, but “you may be the problem”
