At the Puma Energy Rural Service Station inaugural launch today in Chifunabuli. I hate poverty so much I like to be associated with all efforts towards economic emancipation of citizens. Thanks Puma for the invitation to this unique initiative #Zambia#Nodignityinpoverty
Managed to get more information on this. Actually it’s 25 Rural Service Stations to be done by Puma not 17. Marvelous 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
The first one in Chifunabuli will be opened tomorrow at an inaugural ceremony to which President @HHichilema has also been invited. Before this development the people of Chifunabuli relied on fuel from Musaila which is 35km away. What hindrance to unlocking the local area economy!
The new filling station also brings to the area LPG supplies to promote use of cleaner energy for cooking, which is healthier for the community and could contribute to saving the environment through reduced deforestation. In the pic, Chief Chitembo refueling as one of the first customers #Zambia #Nodignityinpoverty
Recently stumbled upon some excellent piece of information. Puma Energy is launching a project in Zambia to install 17 Rural Service Stations, providing combined services of access to energy, financial services & healthcare. The first rural service station, powered entirely by solar opened last week in Chifunabuli District, Luapula. It combines a filling station, a mini bank & a pharmacy. Nothing demonstrates how private enterprises can positively impact rural communities than this. Check this lovely video 👌👌👌 #Zambia #Nodignityinpoverty
The leadership team of Puma Energy Zambia (including the Head of Africa, Fadi Mitri and the MD for Zambia, Patricio Chababo) sat down for a media roundtable discussion about the current petrol prices and shortages in the country. @
