@ladynimala Well first of all, its Genetic. You can't actually increase your risk of passing on autism due to age.
There are dozens of other health risks associated with geriatric pregnancies.
And second of all, kinda yeah? It makes things difficult.
@xjenl0 It is..?
No one questions or comments more about a pregnancy than when its a teen.
Biologically its better to have children in your teens (not that most people should) than in your 40s.
That's the main root of it.
@Bunny_ngl Had a friend tell me that she just "doesn't like children", Okay? Neither do I.
I don't post on socials about my pregnancy, I don't ramble, I still make time for her and she's distanced herself because she "never thought I'd be one of them."
@0xAetheris@Bunny_ngl See, there's 2 sides to this.
On one side, you probably aren't asking her what else has been going on with her life and you clearly don't care about the pregnancy.
And on the other side of it, it's hard to not get consumed by being pregnant, its a huge change
@Eowyn_the_Fair@soupcanarchist It can happen but it should be approached with caution and understanding the risks you're taking for yourself and your baby.
@soupcanarchist I'm currently 40 weeks pregnant and I don't agree with having extra children past the age of 40.
If you've struggled and finally conceived, that's fair game.
But if you've had children previously years back and wanted that "extra one", that's weird and risky.
@MrEmilyGDawn@NoNoodleMaggie You know what? Suck my cock you redneck yankee.
You don't need to mansplain to me how little you Americans care about child safety.
@NoNoodleMaggie@MrEmilyGDawn I'm happy that children are protected by their parents in public spaces. You weirdos disagreeing with that should seek help.
@SunnyDeelight90 I had my first at 22, you can be financially and mentally stable at 22.
My father had me at 41 and I would never do that to a child. All the money and security in the world can't get you time with your parents before they start declining.
