Watching Backrooms felt like going down a dark water slide, that someone else is secretly hiding in. Its definitely more of a slow burn, vs Obsession which felt more like being on a rollercoaster (two completely different vibes)
@finalsnaps Ive seen a lot of people saying that the "not me" polaroid was the real Nikki talking to Bear. For some reason I interpreted it as wish Nikki pointing out that she knows she cant be the girl he actually likes. But instead of giving up she has to keep trying.
Her friends only seemed to check on her through Bear. Even with the restaurant and party scenes you would expect someone there, to pull her to the side and talk to her. But it never happened.
I have a lot of thoughts about Obsession, but one thing that I noticed is that no one reached out to Nikki to make sure that she's "okay". Even though the signs were there that something was wrong.
When you really think about it why are ticketmaster queue's a thing, like why are we standing in a virtual line? Is it too chaotic to open the seat map for everyone at the same time
