[IN PICTURES] ANC MP Cde Christinah Tlhong, visited Madibe-Gakubu Village, one of the rural areas in Mahikeng. Upon her arrival she was warmly welcomed by the Traditional Authority of the village led by Tradditional Leader Kgosi Lekoma.
During her visit, she brought essential services including a Home Affairs mobile unit and Sassa mobile services, to assist those who are unable to travel to the relevant offices for these services. Honourable Tlhong also engaged with the community on crucial issues, including the importance of Voter Registration. Additionally, she discussed the misuse of child support grants by parents emphasizing the need for responsible management of Social Grants.
Honourable Tlhong also requested Traditional Authority’s support in encouraging the community to register as voters and participate in the democratic process.
