Yesterday at the gas station a man told me I looked like a doctor. Wasn't wearing a white coat/scrubs. Maybe I've got that freshly-minted doctor glow 😊
Or maybe as a professionally-dressed white male in a majority-minority neighborhood that's just what a doctor "looks like" 🤔

More so, I'm glad that the council acknowledges the tragically high rate of uninsured NOLA service industry workers! During my time in the industry, I heard too many stories from co-workers with serious medical conditions who were unable to access & afford care.
