@FireSlayer928 There was a subject who fled from officers. A shelter in place call was given out due to a Police K9 working in the area. There was not an active threat to the community at the time and there currently is not a threat to the community.

Pedestrian v vehicle fatal accident in 1900 block of South S.R. 89. The southbound lanes of S.R. 89 are closed from Road 2 South to Outer Loop Road. Alternate routes are Road 1 West and Road 1 East from Road 2 South to Outer loop or Kalnich roundabout.
Police activity in the area of Center Street and Firesky. Center street is closed from Reed Road to Sycamore Vista. Firesky is closed from Road 1 North to Center Street. Use alternate routes.
Injury accident involving CVPD officer in 500 block of N. S. R. 89. Officer was flown to valley hospital. S. R. 89 closed Center Street to Road 2 North. Full press release to follow later today.

We do not currently have an ETA on when S.R. 89 will reopen. Northbound traffic is not impacted by this closure.
