Altadena Demands an Investigation
Be proud of the Altadena for Accountability coalition today!!!
The Altadena float carries more than Flowers this year, it carries our demand for an independent investigation into the fire, AG Bonta. We need answers.
The world is watching @agrobbonta
Los Angeles county officials need to be held accountable for negligence, civil rights, violations, or unlawful conduct during the Eaton fire that may have contributed to the destruction of our beloved town, including the deaths of more than 19 of our neighbors.

A third of community college applicants were fake. $17 billion was spent on High-Speed Rail with no track. $24 billion in homelessness funds disappeared. $32 billion was lost to unemployment fraud. Medi-Cal and SNAP are rife with improper payments.
This is Newsom's California.
Newsom just conceded defeat over High-Speed Rail. He's withdrawn the lawsuit he filed after we cut off federal funding earlier this year. Now the $4 billion can go to our roads rather the train.
The cost of HSR has grown to $128 billion as no track has been laid in 17 years.
It took mere hours for the ineptitude of Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass to render the Pacific Palisades a scorched wasteland. To rebuild will be a gargantuan task. The first necessary step must be to recall these two worthless political hacks. #RecallGavinNewsom#RecallKarenBass
BREAKING: Incompetent Mayor Karen Bass just fired the fire chief for criticizing the Mayor’s budget cuts and failed leadership. Bass couldn’t care less about doing what’s right for the People, it’s all about ego and power for these democrats. They all must go.
The mandatory minimum wage increase has forced franchisees across California to cut back on work hours and has led to prices rising 7%, becoming the highest in the country.

California is now facing a $68 billion deficit. It has also defaulted on a $20 billion loan from the federal government. The situation is so dire the state is telling agencies not to replace broken printers or re-stock office supplies. Workers are being stripped of benefits and could face furloughs.
This is all happening as the state has spent billions funding High-Speed Rail and expanding Medi-Cal to all undocumented immigrants, while losing billions in tax revenue from people leaving the state.
It doesn't have to be this way. Well-governed states currently have a surplus while also providing a much higher quality of government services.
