Are we safe if doctors across the country feel like they can't raise patient safety concerns? @PaulBrandITV & @DrRaviJ explore speaking up within the NHS and the dangers that a culture of silence could create for the country. “After Lucy Letby: Silence on the Wards?” airs tonight, at 8:30pm on ITV1. #itvtonight @PaulBrandITV@ITV
I'd like to thank the staff at @RCHTWeCare for outstanding care. I was admitted to the surgical admission unit on Thursday & greeted by friendly staff. The process was quick & efficient. I had emergency surgery on Friday morning & I cannot praise every staff member enough #rcht
Thank you to @UHP_NHS for the quick and efficient treatment in ED for my Grandad. Seen quickly, bloods, x-ray and ECG done very quickly. Not a great outcome but cannot fault the care and attention given.
Just watched the @JamesArthur23 documentary, talking about mental health. Very brave for speaking out & I hope it encourages many others to do the same. MH still carries such a stigma, so many people struggle to talk about it. Thank you for raising awareness, especially in men ❤️
Would like to thank the MIU staff at Bodmin hospital for seeing my daughter yesterday. The process was seemless, the staff were friendly and reassuring. Assessed, x-ray done and discharged within 90 minutes. @CornwallFT

Day two of #HSJpatientsafety starts with Henrietta Hughes, who is the first Patient Safety Commissioner for England.
She points out how weird it is that she needs to champion the value of listening to patients - it should be at the centre of healthcare.
