@WavyNick She was instrumental in working out the way we process images taken of earth from orbiting satellites. If you want to sensationalize it, you could instead say she invented Google Earth.
Here's a great interview with her:

🔥 A busy Fourth of July for Brigham City firefighters.
Brigham City Fire Chief Brandon Thueson says crews responded to four fires Saturday night, all believed to have been sparked by fireworks, though the investigations are still ongoing.
The calls included:
🔥 Two structure fires
🌾 Two grass fires
The fires broke out during the city's fireworks show while crews were also handling multiple medical emergencies, stretching resources thin. Tremonton Fire assisted by sending a wildland brush truck and additional personnel.
One fire destroyed a motor home, displacing two people. A cat was rescued, and no injuries were reported. A second structure fire damaged a carport near the city cemetery, but no vehicles were believed to have been damaged.
Chief Thueson noted all of the fires occurred in areas where fireworks are allowed, saying it's the kind of danger firefighters across Utah face every Fourth of July.
@tvheidihatch How would you say we did overall, Heidi? I didn't expect us to be perfect, but I really haven't heard any fireworks this weekend. At least not here in the southwestern corner of the Salt Lake valley
When things get dark and your number gets called
And you look side to side
Like "what did they say?"
And it ain't the Lord's voice
Then you realize
The devil is talking
