@adrianag62 @EdSurge I was happily surprised at how many of my parents requested in school summer school. I'm hoping that NISD is looking at the gaps & embedding that curriculum into our timelines for this school year. If we can skip STAAR one more year, we can get that necessary instructional time.

San Antonio has two TJ’s one, 40 minutes away, another 50 minutes. A great, profitable area would be I 10 by the Dominion-this is where many of the Spur live, George Strait... It’s part of Hill Country and would draw a huge population! The HEB Plus is crazy busy.#TraderJoe

@adrianag62 This is so heartbreaking for my special education students; I can teach them the skills, but I can't change the fact that the reading is then 4 grade levels higher than their level. The modified test at least helped a little bit :(

@adrianag62 When I started doing just that, asking where the struggle is, helping,& then walking away, my students became much stronger, self-advocating learners. I won't accept, "I don't know how to do this."They know they have to tell me what part they are stuck on.The touch and go method.
