Professional money managers keep asking why $TSLA ripping higher (+23% last three days vs NDX +2%). I keep reiterating what I’ve said here: EV fundamentals matter most (EVs account for 86% of TSLA profits) and after 18 months of declining eps ests we are likely to get a turn as TSLA stops cutting EV prices and relies more on low cost financing (which is far cheaper amortized over the life of the loan or lease term than an up-front price cut).
In 3Q, $TSLA should be able to beat 2023 3Q deliveries of 435K, reversing the two quarter downtrend (1Q -8.5%, 2Q -4.8%) which was unprecedented in TSLA’s history. If TSLA announces a $25K compact in 2025 to go head-to- head with Toyota Corolla, TSLA TAM expands incrementally to the mass segment, and TSLA can again grow volumes at a 20-25% clip.
On FY’25 Adj EPS TSLA now at 74x P/E which is not crazy vs history (average 71x next year EPS) and also not crazy with 2025 EPS likely to rebound +35% YoY.
@TeslaBoomerMama Do it! I wish I could. I saw the Cyber Truck recently during the London tour, I was blown away. Loved it! Those lines 😍
Plus you deserve it Mama.
Both - first movers will buy, to get to second and third movers faster rental reduces risk, if the robot delivers value to people’s lives they will never live another day without one. This has a potential to elevate humanity. If robots can do “busy work” aka chores hopefully that leaves humanity more time to do what makes them the happiest.
