సైబరాబాద్ కమిషనరేట్ లో డయల్-100 ఫిర్యాదును నిర్లక్ష్యం చేసిన హెడ్ కానిస్టేబుల్ సస్పెన్షన్

సైబరాబాద్, ఆగస్టు 02:

అత్యవసర డయల్-100 ఫిర్యాదును పట్టించుకోకుండా విధుల్లో నిర్లక్ష్యం వహించిన రాయదుర్గం పోలీస్‌స్టేషన్‌కు చెందిన హెడ్ కానిస్టేబుల్ సయ్యద్ యూనస్ (హెచ్‌సీ-661)ను సైబరాబాద్ పోలీస్ కమిషనర్ డా. యం.రమేష్ సస్పెండ్ చేశారు.
ఆగస్టు 1 అర్ధరాత్రి గచ్చిబౌలి ఐకియా సమీపంలో జరిగిన రెండు కార్లు ఢీకొన్న ఘటనలో బాధితుడు డయల్-100కు రెండు సార్లు ఫోన్ చేసి పోలీసు సహాయం కోరాడు. ఇన్‌చార్జిగా ఉన్న హెచ్‌సీ సయ్యద్ యూనస్ సంఘటనా స్థలానికి వెళ్లకుండా "కాలర్ వల్ల ఇబ్బంది" అంటూ రెండు ఫిర్యాదులను మూసివేసినట్లు అధికారులు గుర్తించారు.

ఈ ఘటన పై సయ్యద్ యూనస్‌ను సైబరాబాద్ సిపి తక్షణమే సస్పెండ్ చేశారు.

శాఖాపరమైన విచారణ పూర్తయ్యే వరకు సస్పెన్షన్ కొనసాగుతుందని సైబరాబాద్ సిపి ఉత్తర్వుల్లో పేర్కొన్నారు.

Weekend-Special Drunk & Drive Checking’s by Cyberabad Traffic Police

Cyberabad Traffic Police (CTP) conducted a special drunk driving enforcement drive over the weekend, resulting in the apprehension of 333 offenders.

The vehicle-wise breakdown of the cases is as follows:
Two wheelers: 269
Three wheelers: 11
Four wheelers: 51
Heavy Vehicles: 2

Offenders were categorized based on their Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) levels:
262 offenders had BAC levels ranging from 36 mg/100 ml to 200 mg/100 ml
50 offenders had BAC levels ranging from 201 mg/100 ml to 300 mg/100 ml
21 offenders had BAC levels ranging from 301 mg/100 ml to 550 mg/100 ml

All the offenders will be produced before the Hon’ble Court.
Cyberabad Police reiterate that driving under the influence of alcohol is a serious offence. If anyone is found to be driving in an inebriated condition and causes a fatal accident, such individuals will be booked under Section 105 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (Culpable Homicide Not Amounting to Murder). The maximum punishment under this section is 10 years of imprisonment along with a fine.

In the last Week (27.07.2026 to 01.08.2026)
Total 232 DD cases were disposed in the Hon’ble courts, in which
(03) person got _Fine + Jail,
(06) persons got _Fine+ social service,
(223) persons got Fine only.
