@cheshirepolice @badspyro 300 is the no. of cyclists killed or seriously injured on Cheshire Roads each year, that's 300 fathers, sons, brothers, mothers, daughters, sisters, grandparents seriously injured or killed. We all need to look out for each other. We all just want to get home safe.
A brilliant Cycle Knutsford AGM tonight, at The Angel with PC Lee Spencer from @cheshirePolice talking about road safety, and great to have @badspyro with us too, the Cheshire East Cycling and Walking Champion.
It's our AGM tonight from 7pm in The Angel Hotel on King St, Knutsford with a special presentation from PC Lee Spencer from the Cheshire Police Roads and Crime Unit, on Road Safety.
All welcome.
@badspyro The train station has a couple of cycle shelters. Also some hoops on the junction of King St with Drury Lane, or on King St car park by Tatton Perk.
It's our AGM this Thursday evening in the Angel on King St, starting at 7pm, with a guest speaker, PC Lee Spencer, taking to us about road safety.
If anyone has a projector screen they could lend us, that would be very welcome.
The AGM is being held on Thurs 30th May 2024 at The Angel Inn, 96 King Street, WA16 6HQ @ 7.30pm (arrive from 7pm) in the function room upstairs.
We will also have PC Lee Spencer from Cheshire Police joining us to give a short talk about cycling safety on roads.

Of course, the more we can raise, the more shelters we can install, Silk Mill Street will hopefully only be the start.
We want to support mothers, fathers, children, everyone to be able to shop in our wonderful town, without having to resort to using a car.
