@BikeWirral @GMCycleHiveMind @helenpidd bike rack provision seems poor on Bold Street, Liverpool & adjacent areas. Seemingly no room for bike racks, but loads of room for outdoor seating & associated barriers. Are there any accounts on here that you know of focused on that area?

@thebatclaw @northernassist @helenpidd Thanks. It feels like a few things are not being mentioned as it is not just a slight shortfall, its been a massive shortfall over an extended period. I would love to go on the train to Manchester right now, but can't face being stranded for two hours in the cold on the way back!

BTW, 4 'likes' so far on my sub-tweet asking what happened to your retired pacer carriages - can you clarify what happened to these & why the spare carriages are not being used to avoid short-formed services?

@northernassist @helenpidd As you have been retiring Pacers and replacing them with new trains, I find it puzzling that there are not spare carriages available and that two carriages in the rush hour happens all too frequently!

@GMCycleHiveMind No worries, I felt your point was valid. Friends who don't cycle ask me what I am doing 'weaving all over the road'. A lot of reasons - I'm avoiding potholes, door zones, taking the lane, etc

@CatrionaSwanson I've just completed ten days of a self-treatment consisting of doses of equal parts ghee, ginger powder and sugar. A prescription from my Ayurvedic physician. Although unlikely to feature on many contemporary health diets!
