The next time the USA gets into conflict with anyone, it’s going to try and call upon its friends and allies as it always does. Except it’s going to find no one picking up this time.
Only then will it be able to recognise the true damage it has done to its own reputation.
@TheCardinalArts Gosh I’ve been thinking about this concept for years. I had a slightly different, but similar, concept. How an Avatar could suffer a horrendously messed up childhood, and the people who ultimately discover them to be the avatar see them as a weapon to be used in their own wars.
Part of me wants to stand by my decision to permanently uninstall Overwatch. I just don’t need that level of aggravation in my life ever again. But then the other half wants nothing more than to play OG Overwatch again. And I’m just left like:
@SocksWthSandals Well, we can only hope over the next four years they dig deep and find some actual talent. That way we can continue to not fix the real underlying issue. The need for a radical overhaul of the electoral system.
If there is a positive to be found, one can hope the democrats learn to pick better candidates. Will be curious to see who picks up the nomination next time around.
@SocksWthSandals Oh I know. The institution is too fettered to picking the most uncharismatic people it can find. But when dark storm clouds cover the sky from horizon to horizon, you look for what silver linings you can amongst them.
The only problem with getting all caught up on Frieren after binging it for just over a week straight is that now I have to wait for the next chapter like everybody else. 😭
So we come to it at last. To speak in the parlance of history, the last and final day of Rome. All I can say, is may the Tories enjoy reaping what they have spent the last fourteen years sewing.
@TheSoterios Such a worthy sequel. It had some rocky moments sure, but when the show is truly hitting its pitches, it's home runs every time. And, of course, season 3 is just *chefs kiss*.
