The tournament has three host countries. The obstacle is one country, not the entire World Cup. So why isn't FIFA finding a solution?

🧵Got some very fine details I���ve noticed in the last few games and I’m hoping Saka would be intentional about (I trust him to do this anyway, the most evolving player Arsenal has ever had)

Frame 1: Once he got the ball controlled with his left, with conscious awareness and intention to find your striker, the next thing he should be doing is dropping that diagonal pass to Gyokeres with his right foot….which he doesn’t and got closed down immediately cz of the extra touches to make that run. Most likely cz he is still zoned to taking the ball on his own which I understand he’s had to do in the last two years; but that needs to change this season, We have a quality attack now. This is what Haaland enjoys a lot at City, quick passes from won possessions and he’s gone. Someone like Zubimendi is dropping that pass 9/10 times cz he is wired to do that. Saka needs to add that consciously to his game and team will not only benefit from it greatly; he would also avoid receiving some bad tackles while taking out multiple defenders with a simple quick pass.
