Wales is to fork out another £1.6 billion towards railways in England!

Why? Because the new Liverpool–Hull line has been labelled an “England and Wales” project, despite not a single centimetre of track coming into Wales.

It’s yet more proof that Westminster – red or blue – treats Wales with utter contempt.

Labour once demanded fair rail funding for Wales. Now in government, they’ve chosen to follow the same path as the Tories.

If we want fairness, we will have to take it for ourselves.
