This is only what *I* think. This is not fact, nor is there any hard evidence of this anywhere but, my gut feeling is they HAVE to say something on the 8th (the 7th for most of us in the West; as in tomorrow).

My reasons:

* Looking at the latest revenue chart from CN, they are in a MASSIVE free-fall. They literally can't afford to go another 6 days like this.

* 6.0 is supposed to drop on the 9th. They have to post about that with patch notes and shit. They also haven't stated what banner is going live next. So either they make an announcement about all that and pretend Valko doesn't exist and get MASSACRED... or they address the situation along with the other updates. If they're smart enough, they will do the latter. If they're REALLY smart, they'll give him back.

I guess they TECHNICALLY COULD just launch 6.0 and stay silent, but I think that means an even sharper financial free-fall than they are already in.

Hearing something by EOD on the 6th was wishful thinking, but I think hearing something by EOD on the 8th is an inevitability.

I know people think they won't say something before BBW because of safety or whatever, but the fact of the matter is, saying something BEFORE would be better than after.

If they announce he's coming back before hand they can reap revenue from his character there. I also just don't think security is an issue. Everything was fine at AX and Americans are notoriously more rowdy than the Chinese, I think. 😂 (SOURCE: Am American)

But of course, I don't know any better than anyone else, I'm just making educated guesses.

All I know is that if they want to survive the foreseeable future, they need to #bringvalkoback

ok it's time to talk about the foils, here's some of the things i gathered by playing ALL of the LIs stories showing how valko was meant to be in this game and is actually more carefully crafted than what u think:

xavier - sylus: they are both aliens, coming from outside the earth to reach for mc, both their real ages are unknown, they both meet mc on earth as a kid, saving her from catastrophic events, one is the prince/king of his own people the other is the exiled from his own kin, one is part of the hunter's association, fighting crimes, the other is THE crime lord, white and blue vs black and red, xavier the knight in shining armor with a dark side, sylus is the demon with a soft heart

zayne - caleb: they're both humans in linkon, they're essential parts of mc childhood, the first being her childhood friend that almost killed her, willingly distancing himself to protect her and returning after a long time, the second is mc big brother, forcefully separated from her, he almost died to protect her, him and mc reunited both after a while, mc was the one to 'accidentally' find caleb, one saves lives, the other, takes them (traitors of the fleet), both at risk of not being themselves under specific situations (dawnbreaker vs the chip taking over), both have a role of guidance for mc (teacher/doctor/deity very knowledgeable vs doting big brother)

rafayel - valko: both are native of the earth but non-humans, one from the sea, the other from the earth, lemurians and wolves, they are both fighting for their own kins, both of them hide their own true nature, nobody knows rafayel is a lemurian and valko hide his ears and tails, one is a popular artist on the day vs a cold blooded and vengeful hitman in the night the other is a rich and popular chairman in the day while a fighter kinda hero in the night (tbc since i just looked at the trailer) both with a very bold personality and foreward in their interactions with mc, seems like both are forced to do what mc say through their bonds, colorful hair, delicate beauty vs ragged charm

im sure there are much more things im forgetting about but, removing valko means removing a VERY big part of the overall lore of this game, he is part of the long term story writing, that's why we need valko back
