A BRAND new app designed to improve lives and prevent suicide in young people, aged between 11 -18 years, is set to launch in Stoke-on-Trent, created following one year of extensive research by Ruff & Ruby Urban Youth Charity and Stoke-on-Trent Youth Collective (SOTYC).
As part of a therapeutic discharge, the team supported a young person to Peak Wildlife, the aim was to build confidence in community exposure, reducing anxiety in public places, using their interest in animals as a focus.
In January Steph & Sab facilitated a trauma in formed care session at Stoke on Trent College with the youth collective Lab students, where the students engaged in a mindfulness painting activity to end the session.
CYP ISH completed their first Summer Workshop today where young people had the opportunity to get involved in a creative journaling exercise. Today they completed the ‘Tree of life’ activity, here are some pictures showcasing this 🌳✍️🎨 @CombComms@CombinedNHS
Today the CYP ISH team attended the Family Matters Event at the Kings Hall, we were able to showcase some of the work that we do. It was great to see all of the services in the city come together and showcase what they do! @SoTCityCouncil@CombComms@CombinedNHS#CAMHS
Emily attended Keele University for Disability Week, previously Emily, together with other professionals and service users were able to produce this beautiful mosaic to mark 100 years of learning disability nursing, which is displayed in The David Weatherall building.
