That being said, I'm extremely thankful for the wonderful Thanksgiving dinner my Aunt prepared. It was delicious all around. I was glad to provide brussel sprouts as a side and it was a lovely, warm gathering.

My brother just can't help himself. He's upset we aren't cooking a Turkey or Thanksgiving meal today. We told him well in advance that Thanksgiving was at my Aunt's the Wednesday before and he decided not to come due to his own issues with my oldest brother.

We brought him leftovers and are planning on cooking a Turkey on Friday in order to have enough meat for good leftovers.

This is a weird feeling for me. I'm willingly doing research and training on a subject related to my career without any immediate payoff (such as a grade). I do this for fun stuff, never have I done it for something work-related before.

Yesterday morning I had Lasik done for both my eyes. The difference is amazing. Goodbye glasses.
