@delbx3@danny__kruger How much of the current Chagos deal was already agreed by the Tories? Do we know what stage discussions were at? Or as soon as Labour came in, did they tear up most of the Tory discussions and agree something new? Who knows?
@ArchRose90 Is our new Prime Minister planning to address the nation next week to introduce himself & his policies? Most of the public know nothing about him. Or do we - & the markets - have to wait till September? Is it because he is desperately trying to formulate policy on the hoof?
@SkyNews@cathynewman So Burnham is now unopposed? No nod at least to a democratic process by putting up a straw candidate? This is not parliament for the people, by the people. Over the past two years our freedoms have been erodedunder an authoritarian regime. How did we let it happen? Time for a GE.
@GBNEWS Who decides what is ‘misinformation’? There has been an increase in badly crafted/ worded laws over the past few years when what is acceptable or not is subjective, according to whoever is in power. A law should state something is right or wrong and not be open to interpretation.
@thetimes Funny how the assets of Reform UK politicians are made big news . Perhaps we could also look at Labour politicians sudden rush to riches: Angela Rayner for example, now a multi millionaire I believe?
@Channel4News Why did he not take questions from the press afterwards? If he is to become PM we want someone who is totally on top of his game, passionate about his policies and eager to explain them to the country. What does Andy Burnham actually bring to the table?
@toadmeister It appears the government have totally lost the plot - whatever happened to common sense?? It’s obvious that this will almost certainly end badly…
