@CoachBeede Through the pre-read process, recruited athletes can get a very clear sense of their likelihood of admission and sometimes expected aid package
So while this is true - there is a lot more clarity going into that admissions process than advertised at many D3's

Avoid this highlight tape mistake ❌⬇️
We just reviewed a recruit's highlight tape that starts out the way so many do:
With 7 made shots in a row
Being a good shooter will always be a valuable skill - but coaches want to see other parts of your game
What do you do that separates you from the pack?
For this recruit, they had a standout sequence:
- Block on the defensive end
- Long outlet pass to start the fast break
- Then saving a loose ball
The problem was it was almost 5 minutes into the highlight, so most coaches would miss it
The takeaway: Don't bury your best play!
This goes for all sports, not just basketball
Anyone can make a few shots, but your tape is your chance to show coaches how you are different
Make sure you take that opportunity!
In recruiting, it's easy to forget you are choosing a place to live for 4 years
Our advice👇
Take a break from the rankings
Ignore what other recruits do
Forget the fancy edit
Instead...
Go walk the campus and the town
Spend a night w/ the team
Find a place YOU feel comfortable

Long after the ball stops bouncing…
After you forget your stats…
How many games you won/loss…
The size of the crowds...
The awards accumulated…
Relationships remain.
Going D3 is not “settling”
Going D3 means you're among the most elite high school athletes nationwide
