Today is 31st December '2026

This whole year has been full ups and downs but i've grown a lot and I'm truly greatful!

- Started the year with 2.45K followers > Grown to 12.5K followers
- Landed on a Web3 Job which i truly enjoy
- Read a total of 20 books sincerely and shared my learnings on X throughout the year
- Learnt new skills from scratch i.e Copywriting, Marketing, Film making, Video editing
- Made a lot of real connections in the space
- Started my YouTube channel and documenting my travel journey and adventures there, it's taking momentum slowly
- Started my IRL business and trying to scale it

This year has been really great and I promise next year will be better!

Farming impressions won't help you earn money on X

Yes! Many would tell you to reply on big accounts and farm impressions to get monetised

- I'm sorry to say but it won't work like that

My account is monetised, I've used the same tricks

so let me tell you what happens next

- You'll reply on big accounts for 1-2 months
- You'll get impressions
- Your account will get monetised
- You'll earn your first payout

I got around $52 back in earn 2025 but i believe if I'd have just got monetised today I'd have received hardly $15-$20 as the competition is way higher

Then booommm!!! 💥

No earning anymore

Why ?

X payout depends on replies from verified accounts on your posts, your replies/ impressions has no role in it

Now you're left with

- No earning through monetization
- And most importantly “Difficulty to retain your original impressions” due to sudden significant drop in impressions/ engagement

You'll again start earning when you actually grow your account through your hard work and content

So my question to anyone trying to get monetised -

Is $15-20 worth grinding 1-2 months to farm impressions and later on negatively affecting your brand ?

I don't think it is at all but back in early 2025 i didn't have anyone to tell me this reality

But here I'm telling you, So think twice

Rather focus on content and grow organically, Give it time and let it happen at its own pace!
