@BurdeosMark1@Itssan17 Man of steel is still the highest grossing solo Superman movie of all time.
BvS made over 800 million
Zack Snyder's justice league literally crashed HBO's servers because of the high demand. Was tagged a global phenomenon and broke streaming records in Asia.
@SamaelSeraph@ItsDhanushka If he's incorrect, prove it. The funniest part about this conversation is you kept throwing around the word "foolish".. meanwhile, you're actually the foolish one trying to push a foolish narrative. Lmfao ๐
@temp_rising@ItsDhanushka@SamaelSeraph The extended version got way more favourable reviews when it released. Nobody gives a shit about what you twitter freaks think. The story needed three hours to be well told and it should've been so.
@Pink4racoonART@JoeMish3 Ah.. I see. But that's the thing tho; they weren't aiming to be "prime" universes. The MCU is actually Earth-19999.. canonically. While the DCEU was more of an else world, given the fact that it was originally going to be rebooted after Snyder's Superman story was over.
@Pink4racoonART@JoeMish3 "prime Batman"??
Same nigga who's been Batman for 20 years and has even lost a robin was still in his prime?
Or does 'prime' mean something else here? Lol.
@DoofyDoofas@La_Cosa_84@ayothesage_ Stfu... Are you made at the fact that Batman kills and he's not supposed to? Or at the fact that it's just a Zack Snyder movie?
@frog_marr@viberr28@ItsDhanushka Tf are you even talking about?
Batman didn't stab anyone in the neck in that scene. The only goons that died there are the guy with the granade, KG beast, and the three guys outside. You're making shit up.
@SmegmarTheBeouf@KelzActually I don't have to think the rest of the scene looks bad or good to spot a badly made shot. That shot looks very bad and I'm definitely not trying to convince you of that. You asked what I thought made it look bad and I already explained that.
@SmegmarTheBeouf@KelzActually You think the two are comparable for some reason. They're not. You can't compare what 225 million can get you to what 70 million can get you. Plus, the 70 was to remake/finish a four hour movie during covid.
@SmegmarTheBeouf@KelzActually Nope, not really.
They had just 70 million to finish a four hour movie and film additional scenes. James Gunn had 225 million to make a 2 hour movie. Definitely not the same.
@SmegmarTheBeouf@KelzActually - they also had to make a new musical score, re-edit the 2017 version into Snyder's 4 hour version, rebuilt or re-rendered CGI scenes before making the additional scenes which obviously still used vfx. All this during covid. You can't compare that to James Gunn's $225m movie.
@SmegmarTheBeouf@KelzActually And the ZSJL scene wasn't made with the whole 70 million. You can't tell me you actually believe they spent all that money on only that one scene when the rest of the movie needed to be finished. They had to complete/restore over 2000 vfx shots -
