@ncb_cfc@DogsBreakfastFC I’ve had a shoulder reco myself and I can tell you right now that, in that instant, there’s no way I would have put an arm out, for fear of popping the shoulder on contact. Bruzzie’s shoulders needed to have a locked arm by his side for his own protection.
@jillastark Not to mention having to carry our essential worker permit, signed by boss, stating work hours and days. I got checked and questioned at roadblock every day!
After months of lockdown and (almost) everyone doing the right/hard things, today we not only get all of our students back on site, but these numbers from DHHS! Well done Victoria.
Yesterday there were no new cases and no lost lives reported. Cases with unknown source are down, as is the 14 day rolling average in Melb, this remains stable in regional Vic. There is more info here: https://t.co/eTputEZdhs

It’s been a long 5 weeks under lockdown for many Victorians and there’s still a long way to go. During this time #abc730 captured images that show how much life in Melb & parts of Vic changed. George Stirling, @AustBoysChoir, sings Meet Me In The Middle Of The Air @Chris_Gillett_
@adam_voigt A couple of weeks ago I had a Zoom, MS Teams, Webex, Skype, FaceTime and Google Meet all in the one day, not to mention email/sms/voice calls! I called ‘Bingo’ on that one!
So, after entirely reinventing our teaching over only 4wks, our staff delivered remotely this week, with 96% of our students engaged. Meanwhile our ‘bus driver’ hand delivered computers and class work (hard copy & USB) to those without. Next week we deliver food hampers as well!
@adam_voigt@7NewsMelbourne Well said Adam. Our staff have worked relentlessly for almost a month now to reimagine education on the ‘chance’ that we’d be having to go remote. I’m so proud of everything they’ve done to be ready for our students and parents.
***Please note that our upcoming Information Nights (Mooroolbark 19/3 & Mt Evelyn 24/3) have been postponed until further notice. While we didn’t expect numbers to exceed 500, we believe it is in the best interests of our students, staff and the wider commmunity to not proceed.
It’s always a thrill to work with Principal Darren Trippett and his dedicated team at Yarra Hills SC. This week we got their new staff up to speed on their school culture ambitions and how they are underpinned by Restorative Practices.
