Unpopular tweet incoming. Head Coaches, if you aren't trying to help your kids (who want to) get to the next level and you are only teaching them football and nothing else, what are you really doing? If you aren't teaching them more than just football, then what are you really doing?

This is not a football tweet. This is a "teach them more than HS football" tweet. Yeah rings, banners, trophies s are great, and we all want them. But if you aren't providing opportunities for a kids future, you need to really think about what you are doing. There maybe some blow back on this tweet and I understand it. BUT, when I go to sit down with any program for a job interview (college or high school) I tell them I am about providing opportunities to first, winning games second.

Banners fade, rings get lost, and trophies rust. Changing a life can change a generation.
