I hired someone in Nigeria for a job & offered them what I felt was reasonable. I’ve discussed said salary to a few friends (some in Nigeria, some here in Canada) and they’ve all screamed & made me feel like I’m overpaying, especially since it’s fully remote with flexible hours.

I still think it’s an ok salary, but now I’m having second thoughts on if I did too much, but the person started working already 🙂‍↔️
