@Ada2987_art Yeah i think the same, monster hunter always explored different genres to fit the different places, locales and monsters, more european medieval, rock, traditional styles from several places. Gather all of that into "tribal" is a bit weird and makes the concept meaningless imo

@Ada2987_art And the Sunken hollow theme being similar to the gen 2 swamp theme doesn't change the fact that many other themes like the magalas ones are more orchestal than tribal

@Dynamo_Lynn @Ada2987_art There was a big shift in third gen, third gen is inspired in a very different place than 1st and 2nd gens and that affected the music, is not more orchestal but it explore much different styles that fit better the different ambients

@Ada2987_art Also weren't you talking about trival vs orchestal osts? Motifs in different songs has notging to do with that, zinogre's theme is clearly a different genre than nargacuga's one

@Dynamo_Lynn @Ada2987_art There was already a great change in ost style in third gen and fourth gen already started to go for a more orchestral style that was already present in previous games, so yeah, don't think the tribal style is the identity of MH ost neither that this is a "problem" of new gens

@ErikBio345 If the final result of the game is clearly influenced by generative AI or if they directly use it to make the final version of the game I think it's a no for me and won't play it

@ErikBio345 If it's generative AI for early concepts and such I would criticize it, but probably play. Any other type of AI I don't care that much since many of them are already used since much before generative AI was a thing

Ngl I still find extremely crazy they showed lao in the first trailer of the expansion, like, that's something they would usually show in a more advanced trailer or for a TU like they did with gogmazios. I'm out of words rn

@Lunay678 I personally rather teostra over chameleos for the forest being honest (not only cause teostra is my favourite but also cause the effect it would have in the locale would be much more impressive) but I would be happy with any of both
