Assistant District Attorney, Manhattan criminal court NYC. Tall, handsome, witty, eligible. Often confused with John Larroquette, but I'm much better looking.
@TennantJunkie Odd. I’m the only one who’s ever portrayed myself. The facts given are my own, not those I’ve lead others to believe. We’re all players on life’s stage, and the line between person and persona is rarely negligible.
2/2 Turns out the judge was clean and some wires were crossed (besides the one hidden in my shorts). Shortly after this botched investigation, Hitchcock @DirkBlocker was transferred from Manhattan to @nbcbrooklyn99 and the other cop went to work for Murphy Brown.
1/2 A sub judge on the take, a hand cannon, and a stack of cash. Well, it'll take more than a stack of Benjamins to buy Dan Fielding. I'm easy, but I'm not cheap. I went undercover with a mic down under and hoped to survive with my briefs intact.
2/3 It's Harry that pulled me through. His annoying persistence and unrelenting ability to call my bluff. I regularly put our friendship to the test, yet it transcends each and every conflict. I’m intentionally unlovable, and he does so nonetheless. If you tell him, I’ll deny it.
1/3 Aside from the occasional hallucination, I don't remember much during my Sheila-induced coma. I have one rather tawdry memory as the object of Miss Sullivan’s affections. If only it wasn’t a dream.
Rumors of a future me are valid. An older, wiser me that still cuts an incredibly dashing figure. Fielding 2.0. Current me is preparing a comeback as well, now that the wound of loss has slightly healed. I remain the devilish, womanizing, lovable bachelor you love. Stay tuned.
2/2 During this long-overdue time of progress for better treatment and equality, I hope DanFielding’s actions towards others are viewed tongue in cheek and show us how truly far we’ve come. Onward. #TimesUp
1/2 Author’s note: tv often provides unforgivable characters: the dimwitted bigot, the abusive spouse, even the, ah, sexually-harassing lawyer...all so that we can learn from, and discourage, their behavior. (continued)
