I wanted to make a statement in regards to a previous QRT concerning Scarlet Belle. Yesterday I decided to QRT a call to aid which was requested in light of a doxxing and harassment campaign that was being held against her which threatened to involve CPS and possibly take the children away.

While I might find myself at times disagreeing with both the conduct and messages pushed out by individuals, when the concern of children possibly being removed from their parent is put into the equation, whatever relationship, good or bad, that I might have with anyone takes a backseat for me. Ensuring that the kids are safe and in the care of their actual family is something I hold a great degree of value in, and it will always be the case.

One thing I wish to make clear is that I host a community of individuals from all backgrounds and beliefs where a baseline rule of respect is afforded to all. Ever since the post, I have seen a large collection of people harassing me, my household, and cut me off. As they did this, they would call my person into question, calling me a disappointment, a transphobe, and all manner of vile names. I am not here to justify myself to those people, as It has become abundantly apparent that their capacity for hatred far exceeds their love, and they would not care no matter what I have to say, but rather, I want to be transparent as to the type of person that I am.

In my time, I have always been willing to stick my neck out and rush to the aid of those who genuinely needed it, regardless of their background. I have made and given out many free tracks for free use to the public, and have driven across state lines to be there for others in their time of need. I have always tried answering biblical questions to the best of my abilities where it was asked, and have financially backed and promoted the calls to charity and aid towards mental health and childrens hospitals, raising thousands upon thousand of dollars.

I am someone who does his best to look for the best in everyone I meet, even going so far as to push down the worries that I have that they would very gladly goad the worst out of me. I do my best to afford grace that I know, in many cases, would not be afforded to me, because I understand that people come from various backgrounds and are at different stages in their life, and so I can't fault them for not understanding grace in their moments. While I don't condone every little thing a person might do, I do not perceive anyone to be, in the truest sense, beyond redemption.

Even as the lens of scrutiny bears down on me like a heavy weight, I will not allow this very clearly misplaced cruelty to change the person I am. I understand that people don't always truly understand the broader implication of what they do, as "tolerance", "love", and "respect", become void the moment they choose to stop viewing the other person as another human being, who has much more in common with them than they do differences.

What I pray for is that we be better than this, *all* of us, including you, the reader.

I'll be taking some time off to collect myself and focus on what truly matters. I will not be entertaining this topic going forward. I appreciate the kindness and consideration of those who truly took the time to understand where I'm coming from, and I will be praying for the wellness of all in my absence.
