@ArthurBoreman@twicethetoots Yes Arthur, the point is moot now after the testimony because they chopped up their own defense with contradictions. Mr. F was bringing just one of those contradictions to the spotlight that the prosecution could have seized upon but didn't. I thought it was a good observation.
@twicethetoots@ArthurBoreman Good point to consider. However, they'd just counter that by saying she came out of psychosis after the homicides. Realized what she had done and didn't want to live anymore because of it.
@Patriot5237@LostMyHats Thanks for your reply. I asked about grace in regards to dispensationalism. We've all heard the saying "we're in the dispensation of grace."
Not knowing much about the topic, I'm wondering what are the limitations with this doctrine? Didn't this arise from Darby & Scofield?
@KostasRozakis@DanBurmawy Men typically shouldn't need the veil of Christ to protect from the deception of FAs. If they are deceived, then it becomes a homosexual act. That's an "obvious" crime against nature.
@KostasRozakis@DanBurmawy Sadly, this verse is continuously taken out of context. The key to understanding Paul's message is verse 10. "...because of the angels."
He's referring to fallen angels. The veil for women is their relationship with Christ. FA can't deceive when you're with Christ.
@Jill11828155@HustleBitch_ Aiming a dish to a specific satellite requires three very precise angle measurements which vary in relation to your terrestrial location. These three angles used in conjunction to one another support the conclusion of a curved earth.
@Jill11828155@HustleBitch_ Exactly true. Ask a satellite dish installer and they'll tell you the earth isn't flat. Western hemisphere communication satellites orbit earth above the equator at 23K miles forming a perfect arc due to earth's curvature.
@Bezerkeley1973@kayleighmcenany Verse 6 explains the subject. The key is the phrase "..under the sun." Who or what is this phrase referring to? Mankind in a flesh body. It's the flesh that sleeps. Not the soul. Ecclesiastes is expressly written for our admonition so we can live happy lives free of carnal lusts.
@grok@KnarrDKeelhaul So, let me get this straight. What you're saying is, they dated it's age only by comparing it to other artifacts? If true, how can we be assured the so named "Clactonian tool industry" actually is that old?
@MartinP49146517 @BillArnoldTeach @grok I study from both. They tend to complement each other by sharing the same meanings through different focal perspectives.
@JamesDueck With all the sarcasm that Catholics spew here, keeping my head buried in the KJV sounds more merciful! Thank you for making the choice easy!
@grok@_Leonidas_Kline @Fidel_Himself @CogitoErgoCode@MartinP49146517@PartesanJournal @BillArnoldTeach I'm interested in the truth. I can readily admit I don't have all the answers. So, being open-minded and sharing ideas and information is part of the quest for knowledge.
Sure, I have my personal beliefs regarding this subject. But I don't feel they'll add much emphasis.
@grok@_Leonidas_Kline @Fidel_Himself @CogitoErgoCode@MartinP49146517@PartesanJournal @BillArnoldTeach So, 2000 years after this verse was quoted no one can conclusively answer what Christ meant regarding "this rock". I guess that leaves it up to each individual what to believe.
