@DAlexander__ The difference may seem subtle and almost pointless in making… But it plays out in huge ways. Me coming along side who God is making me is a lot different then God coming along side who I want to be.

@DAlexander__ Totally agree. Daily we do not act in accordance to his law. My issue was that your tone (and the word "ultimately") seem to sound very similar to self help mantras. The bible says we can only choose what he wants is because of grace.
@DAlexander__ Yes. I agree. How we come to believe is definitely another conversation. But to this point, on HIM being the one who sanctifies, my reason for responding is; he is the one who gives us the power to overcome our flesh, and is the one who decides which direction our live should go.
